Small group training at Pretty Hard Body is a personal training session with friends. It’s for people who want the personal attention and instruction from a certified trainer, but who also thrive off of the camaraderie, and accountability that comes with working out with those who are on the same page.

Strength training is our specialty!

Pretty Hard Body has six signature workouts that we change every 4-6 weeks:

Each individual class in Body Beauty combines strength training with HIIT-style cardiovascular sets to turbocharge your fat loss and to tone, snatch and lift simultaneously! Yass!

Our trainers are prepared to modify exercises to ease up or turn up the intensity based on your fitness level.

Body Beauty is a 4-week fitness journey that lays down the foundation for creating a habit that sticks!

With a set workout schedule, you’ll receive the structure, guidance and the support you need so that you can see your #bodygoals through til the end!

Unlike going to the gym, training at PHB is a private workout experience between you, your group members and your trainer.

Together, we motivate and support each other. (And take post-workout boomies from time to time!)

The exercises at Pretty Hard Body are designed to meet everyone at their individual fitness level. From week to week the exercises progress to strengthen your body to be able to do more. We encourage everyone to move at their own pace to ensure correct form and safety.

Depending on the amount of classes you purchase, you’ll train in the studio between 2-3 times a week and your trainer will be available to you for daily check-ins, and/or to guide you to making better food choices.

Body Beauty is designed to ease beginners into working out, as well as to improve the movement technique of experienced gym goers,!

With the camaraderie of a small group, exercise and nutritional guidance, the Body Beauty Fitness Journey at Pretty Hard Body is a convenient way to create a new wellness habit that will stick.

Your Body Beauty payment is a deposit due at registration and is always non-refundable and non-transferrable.

If a request to cancel is due to an injury the monetary value of your unused sessions may be credited for future use with the purchase of the next Body Beauty series immediately following, as long as the cost of your package has been paid in full.

Early cancellation will not relieve you of any outstanding payments and you will be expected to bring your balance to zero.

In the case of injury, a doctor’s note is requested.

You’ll need a supportive pair of training sneakers that you can dedicate to your training. We always suggest new sneakers, but you could also wear an existing pair of sneakers that have soles that are free of debris. You’ll also need a yoga mat, a bottle of water and a towel. All four items are required for training at Pretty Hard Body.

We are NOT HERE for what the streets of NYC have to offer. 😷  All street shoes are removed upon entering Pretty Hard Body. Please bring a pair of training sneakers (that have soles that are free of debris) to change into, or feel free to walk through our spotless studio in your socks because, after all, we are the (self-proclaimed) “Cleanest Gym in Harlem”.🧘🏼‍♀️ #WooSah //  💁🏾

Yes! Individual classes are available as a part of the Body Beauty Fitness Journey.

Body Beauty is an all-inclusive 4-week fitness journey designed to help you to create a habit that sticks! Because one class will never be enough.

Arrival time for all sessions begins 10 minutes prior to the session’s start time. (unless stated otherwise).

Late Arrival Policy: Due to scheduling commitments to other clients’ schedules, and to ensure the quality of our classes, we do not open the door past the class’ start time. Our clients enjoy that the doors to our studio are closed to the public when trainings are in session, and you will too! #Facts

Small group private training is an affordable way to work with a Personal Trainer with up to 5 other ladies (max!) on a weekly basis so that you can create a habit that sticks!

Unlike large format fitness classes, you’ll have the same trainer every time who will get to know you and who will be able to create (or modify) exercises based on what your body can do.

We take pride in being a hygienic and aesthetically pleasing place to train, and want a safe environment for everyone to enjoy.

And because of that, we thoroughly disinfect, 😷 clean and sterilize each piece of equipment after every training session and our restroom is restored on the hour. 🍋

It’s a must that each one of our clients gets to enjoy our “so fresh and so clean” aesthetic – on every visit.

Street shoes are left at the door because we are not here 🙅🏾 for what the streets of NY have to offer.

We open 30 minutes before the first session of the day, and close 20 minutes after the last session. All visits are by appointment, only. 📍Please send an email to: info@prettyhardbody.com or call us directly at (212) 662-6262 to schedule an appointment to discuss your training plan.

For training safety, we recommend that you buy a new pair of training sneakers that you can dedicate to your fitness journey because your feet will need a combination of cushioning and stability. We do not allow street sneakers onto our mats, period.

You can also use an existing pair of sneakers that have not conformed to your feet. We ask that you please make sure that the soles of your sneakers have been cleaned and free of loose debris.

We do not have showers, unfortunately. 😥 We have a well appointed unisex restroom stocked with:

  • Deodorant
  • Personal Hygiene Products ✔️
  • Satin Hair Scrunchies 👱🏾‍♀️
  • Individually Wrapped Makeup Remover Wipes 🤸🏽‍♀️
  • Dr. Bronner’s Hand Soap 🤸🏽‍♀️
  • Scented Hand Towels 👸🏾
  • An Ice Cold Water Fountain with Enhanced Alkalinity 💧

Eww, no. Our small group training sessions are a combination of serious exercise instruction with the energetic pace – and playlist – of your favorite dance cardio class! 💃🏿

We understand that sometimes extraordinary circumstances are unavoidable and you may need to change your schedule, and we are happy to work with you when possible. 🤜🏾🤛🏾

A minimum of 12-hours is required for all changes to scheduled sessions. Clients are responsible for the full fee for for any session that is cancelled, rescheduled or missed with less than 12-hours notice, and the session will be deducted from your remaining sessions.

Any cancellation received within 90 minutes of the class start time is considered a no-show and you will be charged a no-show fee of $27.00.  📌

If you are a no-show, the remainder of your classes will be placed on hold until your no-show fee has been paid. All no-show fees are due prior to your next regularly scheduled class. No exceptions. 👩🏾‍💻
